New Features

Paymetric's Chase Paymentech Salem interface updated to support:

  • Two hour settlement delay after authorization. This Chase Paymentech Salem requirement is that a transaction cannot be submitted for settlement until two hours after the authorization occurs. Paymetric Chase Paymentech integration manages this delay on the merchant's behalf. Merchants are not required to make updates to their configuration settings or settlement submission timelines to ensure this two-hour delay is met.

New Features

Updates were made to the Paymentech Salem cartridge to include the surcharge amount at authorization and settlement. This enhancement allows merchants to adhere to the surcharge requirements outlined by the card brands.

Updates made to Vantiv connection to support new response codes that were introduced by VAP. This enhancement ensures that Vantiv transactions process successfully and that merchants do not experience improper failures or error messages.

Enhancements made to Settlement Aggregator for AMEX Capn around the ENBIN Enhanced version of the BIN range file.

AMEX Capn combined multiple BIN formats into a single BIN format to be used moving forward. This ensures the latest AMEX CPC BIN ranges are identified for Level 3 data inclusion.

Enhancements to the Paymentech Salem cartridge to integrate with DPAO properly and process workflows successfully. The cartridge uses CardDataSource when the source system is DPAO to retrieve the Transaction Type. It previously used TR_TRANS_TYPE, which caused errors with DPAO workflows.

  • Support for Unregistered Tokens, which allows merchants to use existing tokens created outside of DPAO for all supported payment functions.

  • Support for Pre-Authorization during Registration. Before, card validation was not supported during registration. This enhancement allows merchants the ability to configure whether they want pre-authorization performed during registration to validate the payment method being added.

  • Change in validation. Due to an issue where CCP is unexpectedly changing values sent after a payment method is registered, we changed in our validation to help reduce errors merchants were receiving. When a value is sent in any of the fields below, we will no longer compare the value sent against the original registered value:

    • Cardholder Name

    • Expiration Date

    • Masked Card Number

    • Card Type
